The barriers rise like a drawbridge as the strong float is forced to be rotated by the rising flood water, sealing against its vertical frame before the water level reaches the development threshold.
Thereafter rising water presses actively onto the seal to ensure water tightness. After flooding the barriers return to their horizontal position automatically, and remain hidden away.
